Hi, everybody! In this article, we present you the Donner electric guitar. Here, people who know their work do a review on this guitar, as well as three types of the amplifier of the same model. I think you’ll like their work.
1. Donner DST-1S Full-size electric guitar
All right, this is the box for the Donner electric guitar kit. We
re gonna open it up and see whats inside. The box is a little fins’ up and whatnot that
s gonna change anything. Looks like it. Its in another box. Okay, this is a typical size guitar box. They could have packaged it in something a little smaller. But I had Amazon Prime so free shipping no big deal. Alright, let
s open this up now. Alright looks like you got a gig bag, a miniature guitar yup, wow that is tiny. Its our table strap. We`ll open it up and spread it. My guitar was well packaged in bubble plastic and here are all the little things. You get a guitar cable, the amplifier this, here is a tremolo arm, clamp one tuner, guitar picks. These are adjustable wrenches for string height and truss rod, this is a guitar capo, extra strings and a guitar strap.
s open this bad boy up, plug it up into the little amp and see what its like. It
s really cool. The amplifier is actually battery-powered and you can charge it up with a USB cable, which is nice. I got the sunburst finish here. And just note that theres some plastic stuff one at the top of the pickups that can be removed. There
s also plastic on the pit guard. Itll eventually wear off anyways but you can go on and take that off. All right, I
ve got it tuned up and I got the little amplifier turned. On the amplifier has two settings: a clean setting and a distorted setting. It also has a headphone jack. Its not a very loud but it does the job.
s a very easy guitar to play and I just all I did was tune it up. It probably needs a little adjustment on the neck but thats easy to do. I would suggest looking up a video on how to do that if you happen to this is the distortion. This is really cool because it`s got rosewood fretboard and really nice sunburst finish. 2 single coil pickups and humbucker.
Anyway, I think this is an exceptional value of a beginners’ guitar. Even for someone that just wants an extra guitar. Hopefully, you get one and enjoy it for years to come.

2. Donner Electric Strat Guitar Review
How are you doing today folks? We`re gonna take a look at the Donner electric guitar here.
Donner DST-1S Electric guitar
All right folks. We have the Donner. It
s an electric guitar. This is their first electric guitar. They have this in sunburst and a black. Its a strat style with humbucker single coil and single coil. 5-way switch, the tremolo bar, guitar jack and such. And of course the guitar strap holders and the ends here. White pick-guard. 3 ply pickguard: white – black – whites. So let
s take a look at some of the things others. They call this ebony fretboard and then the headstock its like. I have bunches daughter stuff, guitar pedals, guitar amps, bass amps, all kind of stuff.
This is called the Donner standard series. They have a bunch of ukuleles and acoustic guitars out stuff like that. The fact that it says standard series I
m assuming eventually. Theyre gonna have other series. This is a gorgeous black with the white pickguard on here. Here
s bach here lets see the back of the neck. I mean it
s amazing how these inexpensive guitars come out. Its from China and basswood for the good body of the guitar. The tremolo systems one way is down. This is a great beginner guitar and also a great mod guitar. Take the pickguard off and unscrew the wires with a jack. You have a complete guitar. But you can mod really easily by putting a new pit garden or something.
s take look at the accessories. We get pretty much anything a guitarist will need. You get the guitar strap. It comes with it. I think fancy just your basic strap leather ends and adjustable heights. Give 10-foot guitar cable as well little-tied knot thing. There an extra set of strings, so of course will come in handy. The capo-these capos are awesome. Because they have these things in here for the acoustic guitar. To pop out the pegs for the tuning pegs which is awesome. I haven't seen any other capos that have that but these do the Donner ones do. Gets guitar picks for difficult our picks. Of course, we got the tuner. I have a bunch of these tuners that are really awesome. We have two island wrenches for making adjustments to the bridge and such. The neck adjustment for the truss rod. Of course, the guitar amp. This is awesome. I have one of these already. Actually, It`s a wireless rechargeable battery by USB. Little guitar amplifier and comes with the cables for the recharging.
I use one of these pop rocks as well and some other pedals. It
s also great to use with these dHonneur preamp pedals. I have a bunch of. There
s five of these I have. As well any pedals really work with it. But anyways its basically a two channel. You have a clean channel, a storage channel and an auxiliary. And they even make great just two speakers for your iPhone. Whatever with the exhilarating cable and the portable. They
re great for practicing at home. You know rehearsing with a band a full band everything. But if youre writing songs with an acoustic guitar and electric guitar playing over it or you know probably not great for playing over drums I should say but other than that. It
s great for everything else and youre not gonna get evicted from your apartment or wherever you
re living. So cool, really cool. Its a 3 watt in it. I forgot to mention it comes with the gig bag as well. Nothing too heavy duty but it`ll get the job done. It has the backpack style straps on it and aside.

3. Donner Heavy Rock Pocket Amplifier
All right, so today I have the Donner heavy rock headphone guitar amplifier. Comes with rechargeable battery that connects to USB and headphones. What does it come headphones? The headphone jacks an audio splitter and I guess another cable as well we
re plugging into. There are auxiliary inputs of different devices. Im going to plug into the amp here for the test. Well actually let me open the thinner. USB cable, zero cables, the device itself as different indication lights of. Whatnot but we got to drive, tone and volume. There we go and an off switch, headphone jack. And let`s test out how it sounds.
Okay, so I got this thing plugged into a jazz or a Jaguar in the front. Kind of gets in the way the tone knob and you`re trembling to help it stick out a little more it worked great. You can still obviously play very well and a strat style guitar.
m going to plug it into the auxiliary thing up here. Now when you turn it on you have those three lights there indicating how much power you have. This lights for when you plug into the USB for charging it also is an auxiliary in. On the side, if you want to plug your phone in something with the music or backing track or whatever. So got the gain tone and volume right. Now turn the gain all the way down. Very nice clean sound. Up a little bit. Till nub turn that all the way up for now. As you increase the game but I fell about halfway upturn the volume down the tad. Im talking all the way up. Some noise to it.
s what the gain all the way up. Just the strings guitars really close to the phone here. But its pretty cool, you know it works great headphones. That`s what you pretty much designed for headphones. I just sit around the house one practice whatever. And turn the bottom tag get some of our sounds. Feedback there. All right, so there you go pretty cool, check it out.
Mini Guitar Amp ★ FIRST LOOK ★ Review - Donner Heavy Rock Pocket Amplifier
4. Donner mini guitar amplifier
Hey, Guys! Whenever I am demoing a guitar or a piece of guitar gear, I typically plug directly into Logic Pro using their built-in amp simulation. Well, today that
an actually not the case. But today I use the Donner mini guitar amp. This thing will set you back about thirty-nine dollars. And its got a rechargeable battery, mp3 input, headphone output. Pretty dang good little package for $39. Let`s take a closer look at now.
You know I do a lot of like wiring hacks and mods and things like that to the guitars. That I
m building and I really get the wiring done on the first try. I will end up bringing me guitar end to test to see if I did it right. And I didn't I did it wrong. Like the first seven tries, Ive done it wrong. I have to take it back out to my workshop flip some wires around bring it back in and I keep going through this process. So I was thinking it
d be really nice to have a little tiny guitar amp. That just sits on my workbench that I can plug my guitars into while Im working on them. And troubleshoot them and test them as I go how convinced that right.
I was sure when I
ll review amp just knowing that it probably just end up being a tool in my shed. But I actually found another good use for it. It does have an auxiliary input, so and it comes with a 3.5-millimeter cable. You can hook up your music device and then as youre playing guitar. You can kind of jam along with some tunes that you
re trying to learn or whatever you know. But I was like well this thing is gonna live in my workshop. Why not turn it into just a music box. So that I can plug my phone or music player into it and listen to tunes. And so thats what it does.
s in my workshop and I use it to test my wiring electronics. And I use it to listen to music while Im working. The only problem is that I
m the lane and I have an iPhone 8 which does not have a headphone jack. So to hook it up I actually had to do this little hack with this little Bluetooth receiver. I got on Amazon for like 15 bucks. Thats my wiring hack is that I just plugged this thing in. And then I`ve got an awesome little Bluetooth jam box. Not too bad sound. Quality I would say is right on.
Par with just about any Bluetooth speaker box in the forty to fifty dollar price range which is shocking. Because that
s not what its designed for. So there
s not like high fidelity speakers and tweeters and stuff in here. There are just a one and a half inch speaker and its designed to be used as a guitar amp, not a Bluetooth speaker box. That
s just one of the ways that Ive found that this thing is actually totally worth the money. Aside from being just another tool in my shed to troubleshoot my terrible wiring and soldering skills. Or as just a Bluetooth speaker Tillis into tunes while I`m working.
Actually, the number one thing that I
ve ended up using it for is a guitar amp go figure I know right crazy. But its true. I mean I find myself reaching for this thing more often than plugging into my other amps for a few reasons. One, because it
s ultraportable. I can do things like take it outside and jam on it while Im watching my kids play. I can also use it to kill some time while I
m cooking up a fresh gourmet lunch for them. And you know the more that I jam on this thing the more than I realized. That it actually doesn't sound all that bad. Obviously, its not the best sounding guitar amp. But for a portable little $39 jam box. Well, I had very low expectations and it does, in fact, sound like a guitar amp.
m doing. Im actually just coming directly out of the headphones output and into my recording interface. If you plug some headphones into your phone or tablet or whatever device, you
re watching this on. Then your experience is gonna be the exact same as if you plugged your headphones into this device. So like I said theres no good way to demo the speaker for you guys. But at least you guys get a good idea of what this thing sounds like as a headphone amp. Alright, let`s go ahead and start the clean setting.
Okay, now I
m going to show you my favorite setting. This is what the distortion turned on but the gain set really low just to like one or two. I like it because it really touches sensitive. So when youre playing with a light touch it
s nice and clean. But then when you dig in and heres the distortion setting with the gain cranked all the way up to max. The setting also good for some scorching towns.
The number one question I get asked whenever I
m demoing guitar gear does it also work for bass. And well for a portable one-and-a-half inch speaker doesn't have a whole lot of low-end. But when youre using it as a headphone amp like we are right now it works just fine. On the distortion actually sounds halfway decent with distortion kind of some Muse sort of tones.
Now as good as this little guitar amp sounds I do have a few criticisms. Firstly, the controls are really weird about it. It
s got an on master volume switch. You power it on and its also the master volume that
s normal. Then it also has an on and volume for the distortion channel. But then it also has a switch for this distortion on the back. And you have to have them both on in order for your distortion to work. So that doesn't make any sense to me. Then you have a tone knob which does absolutely nothing. I don't know if mines broke or if theyre all like this but the tone knob really does nothing. Whether it`s on the clean channel, distortion channel minimum- maximum no difference in tone.
And then lastly is the game that one works just fine. That
s for your distortion channel you can choose anywhere between a lightly overdriven tone to full-on distortion. The volume and the game work great. The distortion volume on switch totally pointless. Because you also control your distortion volume with the master volume. That is completely pointless. You don't need that and the tone knob doesn't work so thats been pointless.
To my other criticism is in the world of Bluetooth technology nobody uses a 3.5-millimeter jack anymore. That
s why Apple decided to get rid of it from their iPhones. So I would love to see this thing have Bluetooth. Of course, I came up with my own little hack using this little Bluetooth receiver. Ill put a link in the description to that as well as this guitar amp. If you are interested in turning your guitar amp or any non-Bluetooth speaker or non-Bluetooth headphones into Bluetooth headphones you can use this little guy.
So that was my problem-solving pack for that and then lastly there
s no low battery indicator. The only way that you know that its running out of battery is if your audio starts to degrade in quality. If it starts to kind of fart out distort a little bit volume kind of starts to drop that
s when you know its time to charge. Now the charging cable that it comes with is just a micro USB cable. It does not come with a wall adapter, so this just an iPhone adapter. It works fine for charging it or you can just you know plug the USB directly into your computer and charge it that way.
Overall charge time is about two hours from completely dead to completely charged. And then it lasts a long time on a charge. I
ve had this thing for about three months maybe four months and Ive probably charged it a total of three times. Which is pretty good considering that I listen to music all the time and I jam on it all the time. So battery life is pretty been good.
Overall, volume I would say on the clean channel is comparable to a loud acoustic guitar. So if you wanted to bring an electric guitar to an acoustic jam session this thing would be perfect. The distortion channel gets a little bit louder. If you
re wanting to go jam on the street corner, as long as its not a super busy street corner, this thing will probably do the job just fine. But again probably the best use for this is just as a headphone amp. Plug in your music and then you can practice two Tunes in your bedroom late at night. When your kids are sleeping and you don’t have to crank your tube amp. All the way up to the sweet spot to get the good tone and wake up your kids you can just use this thing. Just rock out to your heart
s content right. Thats what I use it for and I am shocked at how much I like this little thing. Like I said it
s not perfect but for $39 I think its pretty freaking cool. I`m keeping it. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this review.
An AWESOME little practice amp for only $39 (Donner mini guitar amp review)
5. Donner Guitar 10 Watt Amplifier DEA 1
All right, folks. So today we`re taking a look at the Donner guitar tip here the DEA-1. Basically, I do with cult tests, with a clean sound little distortion sound here. That I run through some pedals. Sounds great with these pedals and I have similar kind of thing as well. Very nice sounding indeed has an auxiliary in as headphones out. Comes with a cable for the auxiliary in and two adapters for different headphone settings and things like that. Basically: gain, volume, treble, mid, bass and then you have the earth not here for distortion of the gain boost whatever. You want to call it construction is really nice. Its heavy-duty kind of has the fender kind of look to it.
First, here I would say it sounds really cool with pedals. The gain here is you could get some decent sounds, out of the game as well here clean sounds very good. Overall, it
s a really good practice amp and recording amp. I havent really raised it past for hearing no volume in my apartment cuz I`ll be way too loud. It gets pretty loud in other words. So really cool, check it out.
All right, so cool. There we go just to first look at this amp and some sounds and different things. Very cool, check one out very inexpensive and useful.

6. Donner Electric Guitar DST 1S
Today we are reviewing the Donner electric guitar package. This is quite a little instrument. Of course, you can recognize that it`s shaped like a Fender Stratocaster. Also, headstock has cut a little bit differently. This is the sunburst version, they also have a black only version. This is two single coil pickups and a humbucker pickup which is pretty flexible. I found that it works very well for me. Overall, there are some issues. Potential issues with the inexpensive guitar but not so much for a beginner this guitar. I had to do a little adjustment on it. When I got it I did change the settings on the springs in the back to lighten it up a little bit. Because it was so hard. You eventually would have snapped of armor and off this thing over anyway.
So also, the frets on this one are small like an old style guitar. But the front working on this particular instrument is very nice and I find it. You know worse works very well. Then I
m going to demonstrate a little bit of the amplifier that comes with this. Now, this amplifier is good for the parents of the beginner and the kid might like it too. Because it does have a distortion sound and a clean sound. The clean sound is not particularly good but the distortion sound is the distortion sound, but its small enough where this would be an issue. But if you had your kid in his bedroom playing with this amplifier, you can go and close the door and your puppy be okay.
Anyway, so this guitar like I said it comes with a little amplifier. This big bag which is not really enough protection for this instrument. It comes with a capo, extra picks, extra strings. This clip-on tuner which actually works quite well. So you just turn it on hit it. There when it
s green like that springs too. Theres a little button on the back turn that off and on. That one
s a little watch battery. Okay, play a couple things here. Now what Ive done to this guitar you will not be like this for the new over. Because I had to shield the inside cavity. Because single coil pickups which these are kept up a lot of noise not just now this doesn’t keep away this noise. It`s buzzing.
But in between positions on the pickup eliminate that sound. Now it has a humbucker pickup in the treble position. Supposed to be humbucker but it doesn’t make a little bit of noise. The in-between fifth position is these two pickups. So let
s start with the neck pickup which is this one. Im playing for a Fender blues jr. And I just got it set up pretty horrible. Now switch to the next position down that`s these two pickups.
It has a nice high-end twinkle to it in between those two. Has a little more brightness to it in the middle. Because the closer we get to the bridge the more high-end sound you`re going to hear. This particular is easily comparable to the Fender Squires of the star casters or the first deck setups. The only thing is a little bit different is this small amplifier.
s being recorded with it with a phone at microphone 99 going into Pro Tools and I have Pro Tools. But I like the only thing Pro Tools are not making the Apple fare specifically. This is just a kind of general overview of the guitar but again at this price point, the thing is nice and light. Its mostly made of basswood with a maple neck, an ebony fretboard. Which is a little tends to be towards the high end but it`s probably. Because rosewood is kind of pale.
s take a quick look at this amplifier. The amplifier itself is lithium battery in and use a USB charge on this thing. So thats somewhat helpful. And then it has an earphone out and an input. You can put your iPhone in there or whatever you have. The controls are tone or gain tone, distortion volume, and regular wire. We
re gonna start out. I see where we are here or we are once is clear and this is a distortion. I think Ive gone first here let
s see. There a new battery turn. Thats all it
s gonna be. Now were gonna switch over to distortion. And this is what your kid and my kid and everybody`s kid are going to be pride.
s about it for this I highly recommend this for beginners that are starting out. Now bear in mind that I have gone through this guitar shielded it so that its not making the normal amount of noise it would. Probably should have done it that way as far as the ММ demo part but you get the idea. It
s a nice little guitar. Right now this is priced at $129 for the complete kit. Now there are some things you might want to update. Because these guitars coming from overseas are often. The hardware part is really weak. Anyway, I recommend it for you beginners and even for some of you intermediate players. That is looking for a little strap sound its not identical. These pickups are very inexpensive as is most of the hardware the pots all that kind of stuff. But the playability of the instrument itself is really remarkably good.
